EDINBURG — Dr. Hector P. Garcia, a civil rights advocate and founder of the American G.I. Forum, is all but forgotten.
The physician’s legacy was recalled by his daughter during a biographical presentation of her father based on her book, “The Inspiring Life of Texan Hector P. Garcia,” during the Museum of South Texas History’s Sunday Speaker Series.
