CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -He would be 101 years old if Corpus Christi's beloved Dr. Hector P. Garcia was still alive. The civil rights leader's  life is being celebrated all week with tributes and recognitions.

The Veteran's Marching Band provided the music Monday at Seaside Memorial Park as friends and family remembered Dr. Garcia for standing for civil rights for all.
