The State of Texas celebrates Hector P. Garcia Day to honor the life and legacy of this  physician, veteran, founder of the G.I. Forum and a civil rights hero. To learn about this legendary Texan, join Cecilia Garcia-Akers for a talk on her recent biography about the life of her father Hector P. Garcia.
The Bullock Texas State History Museum is a division of the Texas State Preservation Board. Additional support for educational programming provided by the Texas State History Museum Foundation.
