The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation is honored to announce that Dr. Cissy Reynolds-Perez has been selected as our Keynote Speaker for our Signature Luncheon, which will be held on January 29, 2027 at the OMNI Corpus Christi Hotel.

The theme will be "Education is Our Future" as Dr. Perez has exhibited throughout her career as an advocate, teacher, Legislative Liaison, and superintendent which reflects the goals of the Foundation.

Dr. Perez is a graduate of TAMUK, and earned her Doctoral Degree at TAMUCC. Serving many years in education, she has successfully advanced education for those in need, and has been instrumental in the passage of legislation that affected our students in Texas.
