Garcia Memorial Foundation is honored for this recognition of Ms. Garcia-Akers.

The Doctor Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce that its Chairman/President Cecilia Garcia-Akers was awarded the Humanitarian Award by the NAACP Corpus Christi Chapter on January 17, 2014. The same award was given to her father, Dr. Hector P. Garcia in April, 1969. Ms. Garcia-Akers is honored by this recognition.

Special thanks for all the recognition given to the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation’s Official 100th Birthday Celebration.
