The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation awarded 3 recipients  at the Annual Legacy Celebration Luncheon which was held on January 20, 2023.  We are proud of the contributions of these distinguished individuals who have given back to the community in the area of education. Dr. Abel Antonio Chavez, PRESIDENT'S AWARD- President of Our Lady of the Lake University.

Dr. Kelly Miller, LEGACY AWARD, President of Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi.

Lt. Col. US Army (Retired) Pat Simon, COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD, KRIS TV 6 News Anchor.
