Standing Behind our Military Men and Women…

The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation is hosting the 2024 Signature Luncheon Event on Friday, January 26, 2024, 11:30 a.m., at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel, 900 N. Shoreline Blvd.

We are honored to have the Honorable State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa as our Keynote Speaker for our memorable luncheon event. Senator Hinojosa served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a squad leader in Vietnam War; so we are excited with our 2024 theme which will focus on our military men and women.Join us as in standing behind our service members to honor their sacrifices to our great nation!

The proceeds are used for scholarships, a recent $50,000 donation to Christus Health for indigent care services at the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Family Health Clinic that opened in 2017, assistance to needy veterans and continuing the effort for the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Arts and Media Building at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.The Arts and Media Building will display memorabilia from Dr. Hector’s life as well as access to his entire digitized collection. The Foundation has provided over $400,000.00 in scholarships to local and state students.
