TAMUCC creates Dr. Hector play
The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has created a play based on the life of Dr. Hector P. Garcia. The play,“House Bill 3979 Amendment #10: The Life and Works of Dr. Hector P. Garcia” was written by Latina playwright Iraisa Ann Reilly. You will thoroughly enjoy this unique play about a true South Texas Hero.
Performances were Sept. 27, through Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Warren Theatre. The students and all involved with this unique play did an amazing job paying tribute to Civil Rights Icon, Dr. Hector P. Garcia.
