The Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation is honored to be able to assist Incarnate Word Academy to provide a Catholic education to those in need.
We recently were recognized at the campus wide Mass on March 25,2022 for reaching a donor milestone that was always in our plans.
We also established the Dr. Hector P. and Wanda F. Garcia permanent endowed scholarship.
We are always striving to give back to the community in ways that my father would be proud of us.

We are so proud of Jose Ayala, 1st year medical student from UTMB Galveston. Jose is from McAllen, TX and is the first recipient of the Hector P. Garcia, MD, Presidential Endowment.
We are certain when Jose graduates in 4 years, he will be the kind of physician that embodies Dr. Hector's spirit in the practice of medicine.
