In 3 short months, on September 17, 2025 a very historic event will occur at the downtown building of Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. This has been a 10 year initiative for the Dr Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation, and members of the Garcia Family. Please stay tuned for some very important announcements for that day. Jim, Dr. Jackie Ochoa and I spontaneously found this wonderful tribute to Dr. Hector P. Garcia, as we were honoring Dr. Ochoa at her graduation from UTMB Galveston on 5/31/2025. I always feel that my father is helping me from above every day. Yesterday, was one of those days to have come across his photo as a medical school student when he attended in 1936. He is an inspiration to everyone, and especially to Dr. Ochoa.

The Texas A&M University Corpus Christi  Honor Society chose Cecilia Garcia Alers to be their keynote speaker at the May 1st induction ceremony. This Phi Kappa Phi also made Cecliia a member of their distinguished group. #AlwaysSupportingEducation #BeLikeHector
