A very special history making event is taking place in the heart of downtown Corpus Christi on September 17th...the dedication of the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Exhibit. This is an on-going partnership with our wonderful friends at Texas A&M Corpus Christi University. We're inviting the community to the dedication of this soon to be landmark in our city. Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Foundation President, Cecilia Garcia Akers was a Special Guest Speaker at the American GI Forum National Conference, held in San Antonio on July 28.                     

The focus of the revitalized AGIF's purpose is to strive to be more like our beloved and respected hero, Dr. Hector P. Garcia.
